Scholarship Fund

Please consider donating to our scholarship fund for students.  Our goal is to assist with education expenses for four new students each year, which will add up to 16 students/year going into the future.  Because Guangaje is quite remote, the students must move into the city to attend university.  So, although most of our students can receive free tuition from a state university, the room and board expenses are prohibitive for the families.  You may make a one-time donation, but if you would like an ongoing involvement with a student, we suggest a monthly donation.

COVID response

With the Covid 19 pandemic, the Guangaje families have suffered with unemployment, food insecurity and children out of school.  Para El Futuro De Guangaje Ecuador has answered their call for help by providing food and hygiene packs, PPE and, to over 300 families, phone cards, which have allowed the younger children to receive school assignments through WhatsApp.  We also provided a laptop to each of our 3 current college students to make distance learning possible for them.  If you would like to donate to this relief effort, please designate your donation.
